THE POWER OF 20

Imagine having the ability to change a life forever. In recognition of our 20th anniversary, start collecting pledges as part of this 20 for 20 campaign, and earn a chance to win great prizes through our new incentive prize program. Ask 20 of your friends, family members or co-workers to each donate $20.  For as little as $250 you can win a great prize!  The pledges you collect will help us continue to fund services and programs for those touched by breast cancer in our region.

Once registered online you will receive your own personal pledge page where friends, co-workers and family can donate via credit card.  You will be able to send personal emails from your site encouraging people to participate in the Race and in your fund raising efforts. This year we are rewarding our fundraisers by offering great prizes. Anyone who reaches $250 or more will have the opportunity to choose from prizes that range from luggage, to power tools, to exclusive Komen branded apparel. The more funds you raise the cooler the prize!

To qualify for pledge prizes, all money must be received or postmarked by June 15, 2012. Please make checks payable to Komen Pittsburgh Race for the Cure. Pledges can be mailed to the Pittsburgh Affiliate office:

Double your impact!
Remember to ask your employer if a gift matching program exists, and how you can participate.  Double your impact in the fight against breast cancer. If you have questions about this program please email info@komenpittsburgh.org. Matching gifts must be received by June 15, 2012 to be included in your total fundraising amount.

TEAM PLEDGE PROGRAM

The team that raises the largest amount of pledges in each team category will receive a specially designed plaque recognizing their efforts and commitment in the fight against breast cancer. This plaque will  be mailed directly to the team captain.
